Hi Cikko,

just got my "extended" DTXpress3 special yesterday. I had my dealer
beef it up with another PCY130 mono crash as well as a TP120 snarepad!
I`m very glad that my dealer convinced me to shell out those extra
bucks for the TP120 instead of the TP100, which was also my original
choice- the TP120 feels a lot more snare-like, maybe just because of
it`s size and weight? I initially also didn`t want to bother with a
separate snare stand no more, but the solid feel while working the pad
makes more than up on it, I´d say.
On my old TD-8 set the whole rack was shaking while drumming on the
snare (and I`m not a hard hitter!), what I`ve got now feels a lot better!
So my recommendation for you is to even spend a little bit more and go
for the TP120 instead of TP100!

have fun!
Wolfgang
