Wolfgang,

Unless someone else can shed any light on this problem, I would
suggest maybe you have a faulty HH controller.  I don't know how the
RHH works, but the HH pedal progressively shorts out the resistors to
give the final values (it actually consists of 150k, 10k, 47k & 150k
resistors in series).  Maybe you should return it as faulty?
