for something to pick up my hits off the triggers and assign them to
lines on the sheet music. You would think with all the stuff out
there for doing scores for piano, that something would work to pick up
the triggers. Even if there was something we could find to pick up
each trigger hit that we could assign the lines per that trigger would
be great.

Tabtrax won't record the pad hits - it is simply a method of creating
your own drum score. There may be something which will turn your pad
hits into music - I don't know. You can certainly record your session
on the DTXpress [midi] and there is software which will turn midi into
music, but I don't know how well they work for drums. MidiIllustrator
is one http://www.midiillustrator.com/

I am afraid drums are very poorly catered for in many areas of music.
Have you every tried to find some drum music for popular songs? If
you played guitar it would be no problem :-(
