Which Hart pedal?  There appear to be two - a switch type and a
variable type.  While it is possible to get a switch type pedal to
work with the DTXpress (it really wants a variable one) it is not
easy.  There was a discussion about this a month or two ago - the
original poster gave up trying and bought a Yamaha pedal, although it
is technically possible to use a switch.  See message 12624 etc.
