I hope that Rob, Vern, and Stewart won't mind me wishing all of the 
members of the group a Happy New Year from the absentee landlords. 
Thanks to a few active members and the dedicated stewardship of Keith, 
the old board still has some life. The fact that more than 2000 
members have passed through these gates, the vast majority of them 
with at least some genuine interest in the theme, is immensely 
gratifying--especially given the competition for everybody's time and 
loyalty. We can recall the struggle to muster a few hundred signees, 
and I personally watched it grow from less than 10.

Thanks, all, for your contributions. I hope that the site continues to 
be a good place for questions, answers, and drum beating.
