You can add any of the Yamaha dual zone pads. A Roland dual zone mesh
snare would probably work although they can take a little fiddling to
get the parameters right, but a dual zone Pintech snare would require
two inputs to get the two zones, or my expansion box, so is not so
straightforward.

Whether you want to expand or buy a new kit is up to you.  I have
changed the snare to a TP100S on a stand, added two cymbals (PCY65S),
used a spare TP65 to give me an extra tom and use a PCY65S for a
hi-hat and am quite happy with it now.  Mind you, the DTXpress 4
module looks interesting :-)
