Re: [DTXpress] Re: volume

2007-01-13 by Corey Dixon

Keith,
I'm new here too, but while we're on the subject... my DTXpress III is input to my PC soundcard, then back out the same card via 1/8 inch jacks. I get acceptable volume through headphones, but can't come near producing even what would be considered a decent volume through my 5.1 surround. Is there a proper way to go into a PC to get respectable output, or am I facing a typical "analog-to-digital-to-analog" issue here?
Thanks,
doxxon

Factory reset is in the Utility menu: UT SYSTEM Factory Set then press
enter (page 53 of the DTXpress 1 user manual).

Is the volume low on headphones or through an amplifier?

Keith.
