Thomas, You'll get a better result recording from the Left/Right outs than the headphone port, because they put out a stronger signal. (You'll also want to use these if you ever play live, or plug into a PA or soundboard). You will need to convert from two mono plugs to stereo, and from quarter inch to 1/8inch plug. The latter part it sounds like you already know how to do. The first part can be accomplished using an adapter from Radio Shack, or something like this: http://shop.drumbalaya.com/YPP136?sc=2&category=38. Another way to go about it would be to get a cable that goes from 1/8" stereo plug to left and right mono RCA plugs, and then just get two RCA to 1/4" adapters. That's probably the easiest you can do, because Radio Shack will have all the necessary cables and adapters.
