The tennis ball platform had a surge of popularity a few years ago. I've heard that it even works. Let us know whether it solves your problem. Many drummers are dismayed to discover that their new e-kits are far from silent, especially through the floor. Rugs and all manner of extra isolation are highly recommended. Mesh pads are often the next upgrade because they make less noise than gum rubber; they also tend to be bigger, easier on the joints, and arguably more like acoustic drums(depending on the brand).
