Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hello,
I am new here and just looking for some thoughts. I joined this group 
because my intention was to buy a Yamaha set...Xplorer or Xpress. I 
went to a large music store and they had only the Xplorer set up and 5 
different Roland sets. Needless to say I came home with the TD6SW. Did 
I make a mistake?? I played an acoustic set about 12 years ago and have 
not touched drums since. This will be my first experience with 
electronic drums. I will not be playing on stage, just at home with my 
family. I like to play mostly rock and metal.
