I am afraid I cannot help you with the midi stuff, but if you have two
DTXpress modules and want them to make different sounds you need to
select different kits on each of them.  With your snare, you could
just change the "voice", but I am guessing you will want to control
both modules with midi to get twice as many sounds, so you will need
to select or program up a totally kit for each module.
