Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hello,

    Thanks for the info.  I guess I should have asked
around before I bought the roland pedal.  But, I was
able to get a deal on it off of ebay.
 
    In reguards to the DM pro, well I haven't had much
time to get into the nitty gritty settings for the DM
pro.  But, so far I have had no problems with it using
my DTXpress pads with it.  In comparison to the
DXTpress, the dmpro is by far a much more powerful
drum machine.  The big seller for me was that I wanted
to be able to sample my own sounds (via memory card). 
I would say the DTXPress module is a very good all
around drum machine.  The DMpro caters to a more
sophisticated proffesional type users.  Just a couple
things I have noticed are:  Good: 1) much more
realistic sounding drums 2)  much better volume
control 3) better midi capabilities and settings ---
Bad:  1)more complex sometimes difficult to use
interface 2) crappy manual.
