One solution is to suspend the kit and yourself on a wooden platform isolated with tennis balls. It sounds rather a big job, so I don't know if there are any alternatives which may just isolate the kick (assuming that is the only problem). If you are friendly with the neighbours it would be worthwhile trying to find out if it is just the kick that's the problem.
