I have used, and highly recommend, a Behringer 3000FX, It's a keyboard amp that pumps out an awesome 300 watts of power, believe me you wont need that much, but it's good to have. You can get one for under $300. if you shop around. I have used it as a stand alone when we do shows that are too small for our large p.a. and have never had any complaints. Going thru your groups p.a. is an option as long as it can push out the power you need to get your high and lows. you have to pound this into some 'musicians' heads as they seem to think that they know what they have is good enough untill you blast their woffers out. Try everything that is suggested to you as some will not provide the bottom thump we all look for from our kick drum. Guitar center carries some good amps that they usually will let you carry to their drum room and plug in to try. Amps made for electronic drums such as Roland amps are good but are priced way too high for most, Behringer gives you all you need for half the price ! Good luck and get back if you have more questions... --- On Fri, 1/16/09, Perry Norsworthy <foxwilds@...> wrote: From: Perry Norsworthy <foxwilds@sbcglobal.net> Subject: [DTXpress] Amplifier To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com Date: Friday, January 16, 2009, 1:16 PM Any suggestions for an amplifier for my DTXPress II and IV.
