Thanks Keith, Picked up a Behringer K3000FX. Seems to do the job. Even had to turn down the bass volume on the padal a little bit. Perry, I would suggest a 12" 2 way powered speaker for practice, 3 way 15" for gigging. I have a 15" but for weekly practice I would like something smaller and lighter. My 15" is a bi-amped 2 way and I would say lacks a little mid range, although top & bottom end are good - hence my suggestion of a three way. For gigging, get as much power as you can for the bass. It doesn't seem to matter how much power you have, you can still clip the bass amp if you like some rock "punch".
