You can get stereo and mono cables at any store that sells amp, guitars and drum kits. I have purchased a number of different manufacturer names. They come in a variety of lengths allowing you to easily DIY a new set for your kit. I also bought some cable ties and zipped it all up tight. Looks just like the original set up, except customized for all my add ons. Price is typically about $7 per cable. So, you could redo a DTX kit for under $75. A store like Sam Ash or Guitar Center (toll free call) will give you a part number so you can order them online, or right there on the phone.
