I am not familiar with USA shops, but something like HOSA CSS-105 (5 feet - other lengths are available) might be what you want. Basically you need them to be "stereo" or "TRS" or "balanced". Have a look at page 12 of the Hosa catalogue http://www.hosatech.com/pdf/Hosa_RetailPriceList_Nov08.pdf

They also do right angled ones e.g. CSS-105R or CSS-105RR depending on whether you want one or both ends to be right angled. The normal set on the DTXpress is right angled at one end (the pad end) and straight at the module end.

I hope that helps. Maybe someone can suggest some specific USA online shops that may sell the Hosa cables or something similar.

Keith.

You can get stereo and mono cables at any store that sells amp, guitars and drum kits. I have purchased a number of different manufacturer names. They come in a variety of lengths allowing you to easily DIY a new set for your kit. I also bought some cable ties and zipped it all up tight. Looks just like the original set up, except customized for all my add ons. Price is typically about $7 per cable. So, you could redo a DTX kit for under $75.

A store like Sam Ash or Guitar Center (toll free call) will give you a part number so you can order them online, or right there on the phone. Good luck.

What I did was go to my local music shop (but an electronics supplier would suffice) and pick up a bunch of plugs - single ring and double ring where needed, and a few meters of sheilded microphone cable (dual core of course) and made my own leads to length. Kind of a necessity as my DTX racks are somewhat customised and it looked shocking with the factory cables draped everywhere.

Hope I helped.
