Hey guys, I've been a long time list lurker, I've got a lot of useful information out of the group just my listening. But I come to have a specific question: I have a DTXpress kit (orange module, not sure which version, 2 maybe) and an iron cobra double pedal. I'm not a metal player or anything, but I am working extensively on my foot vocabulary and dexterity. I've been playing lots of patterns between my feet and hands, using the ride cymbal because the hi hat is open. I have a drop clutch for my real drums, but never get the opportunity to practice with those. Is there any hacky mechanism I can use to close the hihats for double pedalage? I'm not afraid of soldering, or transistors if they fit into a solution. Cheers Cat
