Even though I've got it set to "SP Med" and the pad is set to "RHH", the only sounds that I can get from my hi-hat are the closed sounds. I've taken the hi-hat cord and plugged it into the ride, leaving the hi-hat controller cord where it is, and still cannot get a closed sound. I've disassembled my RHH 130 and everything appears to be in order (all cords are plugged in and all parts are where they should be). The only way that I can produce a closed sound is if I leave the hi-hat cord almost completely unplugged, just barely dangling in the jack. But, then I can only get the closed sound and no open sound. Any suggestions for me?
