I think I noticed a similar system32 error when trying to install another driver or program... : > > > http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/1444/capturegv.jpg > > > > > > > > > I cannot really help with the error message. It sounds like the program must have found a midi input device though, because if I leave mine unplugged I get an error message "No Midi device found - this application can't be start". > > > > The WINMM174.SYS file seems to be one created by the midi monitor and when I open it it contains the following "LaunchCount=29" - that's all. So it is simply a counter to see how many times you have used it (presumably before the demo period expires). > > > > Keith. > > > > Thanks again Keith. I guess i'll just have to wait for my new cable to come in and hopefully that'll fix my problem. For now i tried out the settings someone posted under the database section... that gave my symbols a bit more life at least. > Got in the second cable last night. I didn't have a long time to test it, but I couldn't get either of the orange or green lights to come on. I kept getting the same error in midi monitor and it wouldn't let me enter the program. Only time I got the green light to flash was when I was closing out the program for some reason...
