Gary, It sounds like you have a bad connection in the cymbal. The piezo is connected to the connector tip. The bell and edge both connect to the ring, with one of them having a 10k resistor in series. It sounds like that connection is the problem. Look for cracked solder joints and wires which seem a bit floppy - the can break just inside the insulation so they look connected but aren't. The bell and edge are simply switches. Keith
