Keith, Thanks for the advice. I will give that a shot. I did, however, already take the cymbal apart and clean the ribbon cables. It worked for a brief second but then went back to old results with one difference. Now I occasionally get the bell on all three zones. Nt sure what the heck is going on, but I appreciate the advice. All three zones produce the ride. I have read other discussions about this and they all suggest opening the cymbol up and cleaning the ribbon cables. Has anyone here done this, If so... How hard was it and was it successful? > > > > Gary, > > Before taking it apart I would suggest a bit of swapping around to make sure it isn't the cable, module or trigger settings. It seems a little strange for the edge and bell to both stop working simultaneously. The cable would do that, as would the module trigger settings - check it is still set to the correct pad type. If you have another 3 zone pad (even a snare) plug it into the ride input to make sure the input is doing the correct thing. Also, try swapping the cable. > > In the photos section there are pictures of most pads in pieces - kindly done by oldguydrummer. It shoud give you an idea about how they are put together if all else fails. I have taken apart the PCY65 and it is pretty easy. > > Keith. >
