Martin, Hmm. So you have a DTXpress (I, II, III?) with no battery? Have you bought it second hand? If you have tried a RC2032, have you put it the right way round? Some products can take a few minutes to recognise a replacement battery - it takes a while to charge up internal capacitors. A bit more history would be useful. Keith
