Hi Keith & co. I Played about with it tonight and found out if I turn the attenuator right up and hit it hard it will whisper. It will do for a ride, for now. I was intending to replace it anyway with a dual or triple zone. Also recieved my Roland cy5 tonight which I will use as a hi hat. Seems ok only played for a couple of minutes so will need a good battering in the next few days. I feel that it wasn't quite 100% may need a little tweak for it to play like the other pads. If I like it I may get another as the pcy65 replacement, anyone who has done similiar please let me know what you think. Cheers everyone --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "keith1200rs" <keith@...> wrote: > > That doesn't sound good. There are photos on here of all pads in bits but I wouldn't suggest you do that yet. I have taken them apart -they aren't too tricky although there can be some glue along the front edge where the rim switch is. > > Keith. >
