Piezo problems..

Having an issue with using a pintech concercast snare with my
DTXpress II module. Also having issues with a dual (piezo) diy mesh tom. RIM will not sound. I'm hearing the yamaha module is or may not be piezoâ' piezo but piezoâ' switch..Where can I find out the correct info. I scoured the manuals.! help.!
