Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi, I have come to you before for problems and you all have always come through, I have the original dtxpress. my dual zone cymbal is beyond repair. I bought a pcy135 I know it will only produce 2 zone. The problem I am having is getting it to do 2 zone capibilities. I have done factory reset, and I am trying to get fast crash on the edge and china on the bow. I am getting 2 different sounds on the edge and it is hard to explain. since I have an extra cymbal added than what came with the dtxpress I have used the 9/10 input to free up space. I just need to know what inputs to use with the extra cymbal and as far as the pcy135 is there anything I need to do with trigger selection in whatever input you suggest. I have looked all over the net but all info.is for dtxpress 3 or 4 I am lost and after factory reset all my custom kits are gone. Please any help that anyone can give I will be so greatfull.
