Yes the DTXpress IV is quite different. the DTXpress I/II/III are similar and accept piezo/switch pads in most inputs i.e. dual zone. The DTXpress IV has dual mono pad TOM inputs so they accept two mono pads through a simple Y splitter but won't work with a dual zone piezo/switch tom.
