Thanks Ian, I think I will wait till after Christmas then get
the best price i can, probably through Ebay. I'm guessing around $700 for a used
set.
Regards,
Ryan

I fit in with your description of a 'middle aged guy' too.
Having bought a DTXpress about a year ago, I can only say go for it !
Best Regards,
Ian

Subject: [DTXpress] new to drumming
I am a middle aged guy who has taken a few drum lessons which i
enjoyed. I need to buy some equipement if i am going to stay
motivated to explore this new interest further. A regular drum set is
too loud for my family. I have been looking into a DTXpress kit
through ebay, and other dealers. As a new comer to drumming should i
take the plunge with a kit like this or should i be starting with
something simpler, easier? Also, if this is the way to go, how much
should i expect to pay for an electonic drum kit?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan
