Hi There, I remember some posts not too long ago (3 - 6 months) discussing this topic, but I'm not sure I remember the outcome. You may want to try some creative searches of the posts to see if you can find it. What I do know is that the TP60 pads that come with the DTXpress are single trigger pads, which is different than the TP80S pads that have a rim trigger. I have replaced many of my TP60 pads with the TP80S pads so I can get different sounds from the main part and rim.
