Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey everyone! first wow, this is awesome site, everyone seems soo 
knowledgeable etc, you guys rock! I just bought at DTXpress about a 
month ago and I love it. I have been playing on a Ayotte drumsmith 
kit for the last 3 years or so, and I can honestly say that the 
dtxpress amazes me. plus it sounds really good through a SWR full 
stack ( 1 18" and 4 10"'s ) :) thanks to my bass player!
Anyways I have a question, is there anyway to set the EQ on each 
individual pad? I know you can set the the EQ for the whole kit 
through the various options. here's the problem I'm running into, I 
just made an awesome snare tone, but in order to do that I had to 
crank up the treble EQ to about 6. the problem is now my ride cymbal 
and high hats ( it sounds like it's clipping ), ,but if I turn the 
the treble down lower it stops the clipping but makes my snare drum 
sound worse.  hopefully that made sense, and if anyone has any ideas 
I would much appreciate it.
