When you're moving the kit from one place to another those flimsy plactic clamps that hold the fromt crossbar strip very easily. I suggest getting gibraltar rack clamps and using those to hold the crossbar on. they're much more reliable and you will immediatly notice how much more stable the whole rack becomes. When I move the kit to a gig. The first thing I do is disconnect the dtxpress unit and put it in an old brief case which I padded. Then I remove the front crossbar. I lay the sides of the rack flat in my trunk with the pads still attached and sticking up I put the cross bar on top of that and theres still enough room for the bag with the unit and pedals. My car is pretty small too, so this should work for just about anyone. The only real don't I can say is about those cheap plactice rack clamps. Don't crank them too tight. They strip easily. --- dpinder123 <dpinder@...> wrote: > Hi Gang > > One reason for purchasing the dtxpress was its > potential for > portability (i.e. easier to move around than an > acoustic kit).
