Mine was intermittent ( drop outs, etc. ). At first i thought the piezo was bad so I replaced it -- no go.. I resoldered the whole PCB - no go... I replace the resistors on the PCB - that did it.. I remember many years ago an insertion machine in a factory that was putting stress on the leads of some diodes, causing intermittent failures in the field - this may be a similar issue. either way - $1 worth of radio shack parts and life is good. It's actually better now than ever... BTW- i use a felt beater. lockhart69t wrote: > --- In DTXpress@y..., "liberatusvirus" <edtyct@m...> wrote: > > Searching through the archives I found a lot of the same kinds of > > problems with the KP60 that I asked about last week, particularly > > dropouts, regardless of gain, rejection, and min. vel. settings. > Is > > the Pintech Verikik more reliable?
