Manual, click (new member with silly questions!)

2002-05-06 by Patricio Murphy

Hello,
I play in a band down here in Argentina. We decided it was better to replace our acoustic drums with a DTXpress in order to simplify our gigging, but for some reason the manual was lost, so we had to figure it all out with the quick reference guide.
I already emailed Yamaha and we'll see if they have the same policy regarding manuals for this part of the world.
In the meantime, I have one important question: we are not able to control the click's volume (which is outrageously loud!). the obvious doesn't seem to work (the knob labeled Click). Any clue?
I'm not the drummer in the band, but I'm the one who does most of the programming anyway. I'm quite happy with everything, excepting the rides. I have problems making them sound natural, particularly when there are several near strikes. I'll thank any idea as of how to get the most out of them.
Well, nice to be here, I'll continue posting questions as they appear.
Thanks a lot!
