Re: User Kits

2000-01-20 by Giles Hearn

Sorry Chris - hope I haven't offended you.

I DID listen to the kits and I haven't forgotten. I just think that - and don't take this the wrong way - you could do much better. The kits you sent only had one voice per pad - and we all know that two is better than one, especially in the case of the DTXpress. Don't get me wrong, your kits were fine - I just reckon you've got more in there than you're letting out. Just go for it, mate. Be adventurous. Most of my kits are crap anyway. Send me more, pleeeaaase......I promise I'll put them up.

To everyone else.
I really would like to hear what you're all doing. You might think that one kit is pretty much the same as another but I think, with a bit of adventurous programming, we can create some very interesting sounds. Also, has anyone checked out the MP3s on the web site? What do you think? Is it a good idea? Are they too big? Has anyone managed to get DTXchange working?
Anyone got any new tips?
