Scott, unless I misunderstand your post, I disagree. If you plug a stereo pad into input 1 (kick) using a stereo cable, input 1 is capable of triggering 2 seperate sounds - one for PAD 1 and the other set to RIM 1. I currently use this for an extra cymbal on the pad and a cowbell on the rim of a TP80S. So if you plug 2 mono cables from 2 kick pedals into a "splitter" with a stereo output, this stereo output will then be plugged into input 1 (which is stereo) and would be considered the same as a stereo pad, such as a TP80S. You then set up RIM 1 and PAD 1 to the same kick voice and you have a double kick. Ian
