I was at rehearsal the other day when all of a sudden one of
my tom pads went out. The thing is, the one that went out was on Tom2, and I
assigned a bass drum to it because I was playing along with loops on those pads.
So I immediately switched to another kit to troubleshoot the problem, and alas,
that pad was out on other kits. So I switched it one last time and the pad came
back to life, but only on kits that weren't assigned that particular bass drum
sound that I assigned to it. When it's any other kit, the pad works great. When
it's a kit that I am using that I assigned that particular bass drum to that
pad, that pad doesn't play at all. But the pad still triggers, obviously because
it works on other kits and it triggers it to switch when I hit the pad when I go
into the VOICE edit mode. It is the most bizarre thing.. any clues?
