basically I think I somehow globally turned off all the bass drums,
because I noticed the problem affected only the kick sounds. I wrote
down all my settings for each pad, and then I reset the entire unit
back to it's factory settings and remapped my kits. Painstaking
process but it worked and did it just in time to make the show..
