Earlier this year I posted quite a bit about the problem. I told Midwest Percussion about it. They put me in touch with Yamaha. I re- soldered the connections etc, but nothing worked. Eventually Yamaha sent me a new KP60. They were very nice about it. Not long thereafter, however, I replaced this second kick tower, which was better than the first one but not flawless, with one from DrumTech, which tracks perfectly. Hopefully, the kick pad in Yamaha's new DTX, which seems to be an entirely new design, works better. Cheap as the necessary parts are, you shouldn't have to pay at all for the company's mistake, unless, of course, you choose to buy from another company, as I did. --- In DTXpress@y..., Scott Bettersworth <sgbworth@y...> wrote: > I sent mine back and they repaired itfor nothing.
