Hi Sam P,

I'll use this note to suggest that anyone doing serious touring with a
kit resting on aluminum tubes and plastic clamps is likely to be very
frustrated.  Although they are light weight and easy to carry, they
will not tolerate touring, in my humble opinion.

Steel tubes and metal clamps are what is required for that type of
use.      Now before you panic, if cash flow is a problem - then buy
things as you can afford them - piece by piece if necessary.  Or, if
you can afford a few hunderd dollars at one shot, you can get into a
set up that will stand up to touring, and will be strong enough for
you to stand on at the end of the show to take your bows!

Did someone say Gibraltar?  I sound like a spokesperson.  If anybody
from Kaman is listening, I want a commission!!!
