Re: [DTXpress] hook up?

2002-11-07 by Chris Petrone

Hi,

The PCY10 is a mono trigger. I have mine plugged into the dual mono input 9/10. I used a 1/4" stereo to dualrca "splitter". The PCY10 is on one side of thesplitter (input 9) andmy BP80 another mono trigger is plugged into the other side of thesplitter (input 10). Of course only half of the BP80 is active with this hook up since it has two pads, but I am out of inputs and I love the PCY10 as a ride bell, so I sacrificed half of my BP80. I would keep the kick pad where it belongs in #1.

I now have the PCY 10 plugged into the kick pad and the output of the kickpad going to input # 9/10. I plugged the PCY80S into input # 1. I can get the setup to work for both zones on the PCY10S but can't seem to get the choke effect to work. Their manual is not much help with this sort of thing and their tech support leaves something to be desired.
