Hi Chris, I'm going to give you two answers, as there is a cable that goes to the HH pedal, and one that goes to the HH pad. The HH pedal needs a stereo (you may see it called a TRS) 1/4" male phone to 1/4" male phone cable. These come in various lengths, and one place you can get them is Drumbalaya.com. Here's an example:http://shopping.netledger.com/app/site/site.nl?site=ACCT97787&mode=items&sc=2&category=41&it=A&id=692 Now, you can use that same cable for your HH pad, but chances are that you only have a single trigger pad for your HH, and if so you can get a mono 1/4" male phone to 1/4" male phone ExamplesExamlpes of mono pads would be TP60, TP80, PCY60 or PCY80. Yamaha usually adds the letter S to the end of models that have stereo triggers, like TP80S as an example. Here's a mono cable http://shopping.netledger.com/app/site/site.nl?site=ACCT97787&mode=items&sc=2&category=40&it=A&id=690 - The mono cables are simply guitar cords, but the stereo ones are a little harder to find. You can visually tell the difference by looking at the plugs - the stereo has three sections (called the Tip, Ring and sleeve or TRS for short) while the mono only has two sections. Both type come in various lengths - choose what you need. Hope this helps, Walt -- cs_williams <chris_williams@...> wrote: > > Bought a used DTXpress and the hi-hat patch cord is > flaky.
