Welcome to the club. To get the "stereo" effect for the TP80S, you need to plug it into one of inputs 1-8. The TP80S has a piezo trigger for the main voice and a rim switch for the second one. If you use 9/10, only the main voice will be possible, since 9/10 takes either two mono pads, each with its own piezo trigger, or one dual- zone pad, with two piezo triggers; it will not pick up a rim switch. Also, unless you plug one single-zone pad into 9/10, a "Y" splitter is necessary.
