Ther DTXpress II is definately the way to go. Original DTXpress is still available for around $700.The II is $999.99. The DTXpress 2K was an improved version of the original DTXpress. It had more rack braces, and included a stereo pad for snare, and a stereo pad for cymbals. The original had all mono pads.
