How about using a Roland KD-7 Kick Trigger Unit instead ?It's working mechanism is quite differentfrom regular kick pads (dtxpress etc.). Once you step on the pedal, it goes all the way down the very front and hits the pad down there. It looks more stable. I dont know if it is compatible with Dtxpress, or it helps us minimize the noise but...
Any comments on this?
I am sending a picture of the KD-7 Kick Trigger Unit.
