Hi & thanks for the reply James!

I didn't realize I could layer the sounds. I'll try doing that. Yes 
the sounds that come with this unit are fairly decent. But after 
listening to several of those drum sample CD's I was blown away how 
much better they are! If I can record the set as midi & have these 
sampler CD's drum sounds play on the final cut in my songs, that 
would do just fine, along with a little quantizing!

Thanks for that link too. There's a lot I don't know about what this 
kit has to offer, much to learn still.
