I don't think that the piezo is overly sensitive to I must be one lucky SOB because I have a second generation DTXpress with a KP 60 and it works just fine. Early on, I had a bout with dropped triggers, but I changed beaters and adjusted the sensitivity and polarity on the KP 60, and it hasn't burped since! I found that the KP 60 responds better to a certain shape beater and that the pad has a "sweet spot." Center your beater in that spot, and BAM, every time. ____________________________ Jim
