Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi all,

After a month of struggling to adapt the ECII16R to my Yamaha 
module, I've given up. Anyone using Roland or Alesis electronics 
with, or instead of, Yamaha will undoubtedly have better luck. My 
decision to buy it came from Roland users' high recommendations. So 
go figure. Apparently Hart is aware of the incompatibility issue 
(I've now heard that it applies to the ride, the hi hat cymbal, and, 
if someone currently selling on ebay is to be trusted, the 
Acusnare).  I'd rather someone in this group get the chance to make 
use of it than have it go outside the family, unlikely as that 
prospect may be in Yamaha territory. Those who own the DTXPU, DTX2U, 
or DTXTU exclusively need not apply.
