Re: Rim choke

2003-02-16 by brown8700 <brown8700@aol.com>

.....................I am thinking of buying an extra cymbal pad and
splitting the rim sound off to that pad. Has anyone tried doing that?

Nicholas, I've done that. I use the dual pad to the right, and have
the edge programmed as a crash and the pad as a ride. However, I
didn't like the feel of the pad for a ride, plus it wasn't placed in
a comfortable position. I 'Y-ed' a TP80s pad to it and placed it on
lower on the right. I use the pad to ride on and it's better
positioned and feels more comfortable. I can crash the rim and choke
it as well.
