Re: [DTXpress] Re: MidiKITI Programming Help...ED...HELP!!

2003-02-18 by jadeiebooshkie

Here's what I did...I re read your last post...I went
into the UTILITY Menu and FOUND one mistake I made:
I now have these:
UT MAP N=106A#6 (this was listed as no assign)
=C/024 Ride Em (This is for pad 9)

Under VOICE MENU
KIT*In=pad9
Copy To In=pad9
USER KIT 80 pad 9 showed the note 106A#6 with C/024
Ride Em
I unplugged the KITI and replugged it in Visulite is
in input 1 on KITI, input 1 is lit the red lights on
the KITI registered 0-0-1. I tapped the Visulite then
pressed Auto Train on the KITI the 0-0-1 still
flashed, then I hit pad 9 (that's plugged into DTX
channel 9/10)...all the red lights lit up to MIDI NOTE
then the 1-1-3 started to flash, as it did before, not
106 as it should be. When I listen to the visulite in
my headphones, the sound it is picking up is a tom
sound...SOMETHING is not right, and I don't know if
I'M doing something wrong, or if there's something not
set with the DTX or if it's the KITI...I hit pad 9 and
get a cymbal from kit 80, I hit the visulite, and I
get a tom...can you think of anything that may be the
problem...could the 9/10 split input on the DTX be
confusing the KITI?
Thanks for your help and patience with me,
Jade
