Jade, You may as well re-intialize to the original factory settings. You have nothing to lose at this point. I thought that you'd be able to override any previous settings without too much trouble, but you seem to be in quicksand. Hold down both the Up and Down arrows as you power up; that will restore all the presets. Then try midi note auto train again. Alternate Mode could check it out quickly and relatively inexpensively. My keyboard was fried, and they were helpful, beyond the call of duty, actually. By the way, gate time is virtually meaningless so far as e-drums are concerned. Gate times can be so small that the midiKITI's default setting simply registers 0 unless you spend a few years on the button trying to raise it unnecessarily.
